I remember back when my son and his we friend from two doors along were 3 yr olds….we had swings in the garden for them so they didnt nag ( quite as much) to go to the park which we could see from the kitchen window, and had pieces of old carpet under the swings to stop them getting to muddy, and they use to lift the pieces of carpet, take out the worms, put them on the swings and push them….was quite funny at the time.. and if we hadnt of interviened then poor worms were then left to dry out once they had finished playing with them

Ooh what did the boy think to the worm? Little Bean doesn't like them because they are too 'wriggly' π

He wasn't taken aback by it. He looked and touched it gently, and then went off to do digging instead.

Oh the poor little worms! Boys will be boys though!
