This is the honeysuckle that my mum bought me when I moved into my first house ten years ago. When we moved two years later, I dug it up and moved it with us the 125 miles back to Cardiff where it has gone bananas ever since. I love this time of year when it is still covered in flowers and buds, but the older blooms have turned into the berries.

I'm going to miss my honeysuckle! Although to be fair it was pretty ancient.
My nan pulled a bit out of a hedgerow when I was about 6 or 7. She planted it in the garden and it went berserk! I took a piece when I left home and planted it in our first house. It moved to second house and came here to our third. So the plant hubby cut down was from a plant pinched from a hedgerow 50 years ago! BOOO….
Hope yours lasts as long!!

They are very pretty and you sound greenfingered! I usually kill everything even when I'm really really careful
