We recently reviewed the Hot Wheels Total Turbo Takeover set and The Boy was delighted to be sent the Spiral Stack Up set which is part of the same range and can join onto it to extend the play opportunities.
The Spiral Stack Up features a central tower from which there is a spiral which wraps around it descending to the floor, this then links onto an extension track and ends in a ramp allowing for super zoomy jumps. Added to this are two yellow gates which allow for tracks to be added onto the main spiral, they are adjustable as they slide up and down the outside edge of the spiral. They aren't an alternative way for the main car to go down, more of an add-on as another Hot Wheels car sits in the gate waiting for the main car descending the track to knock the gate open allowing those cars to zoom off!
This set doesn't use batteries and doesn't have just one way of being set up, there are a number of options and configurations which we are yet to try out. The main bonus to this set (aside from the lack of noise!) is that it can be joined onto other track builder sets and even the Wall Tracks, which provides hours of fun for racing car enthusiasts!
