I'm becoming very excited for Christmas; creating the right atmosphere in the house with lights, decorations and fragrances really adds to the magical time. I've been sent a few items from Yankee Candle recently which are going to help fill the house with the scents of the season; vanilla, cinnamon, apple, gingerbread, nutmeg, marshmallow, cookies and cranberries.
Angel's Wings Christmas Candle
Angel's Wings is a delicate fragrance with the predominant aroma of smooth vanilla combined with sweet sugar and soft flowers. It's an incredibly mild scent when unlit and gently fragrances the air, and when lit will provide 65 to 90 hours of burn time. (See here for tips on how to extend the burn time of Yankee Candles).
Available in sampler votives from £1.80 all the way up to a large jar candle priced at £19.99, Angel's Wings is a perfect scent to combine with other gorgeous Christmas aromas.
Advent Calendar 2014
A wonderful alternative to the gluttony of chocolate which descends upon households in the month of December, the Yankee Candle Advent Calendar includes tealight candles in six different fragrances:
- Icicles
- Angel's Wings
- Snowflake Cookie
- Cranberry Ice
- Christmas Cookie
- Christmas Garland
If you're like me and the type of person who can never choose, then the advent calendar is perfect. With four tealights of ever fragrance (five of the Snowflake Cookie candle) then there's no chance of running out of lovely Christmassy smells during the month of December, and plenty of choice to suit the occasion and mood!
The Advent Calendar is priced at £21.99 with 25 tealight candles, which works out at 88p per candles, each one providing between 4 and 6 hours of burn time.
There is a wonderful range of Christmas candles available on the Yankee Candle website which will make the perfect gift.
