I'm sure that I'm not the only parent who spends an awful lot of December creating fun activities for their children, building up the excitement of the season and ensuring plenty of enjoyment and memories are created. I don't know about you but The Boy usually has a chocolate advent calendar and then he also has a handmade fabric calendar that I made a few years ago, this one usually has a small gift or an IOU for a christmas craft or activity in it.
I don't have an advent calendar.
But this year I do!
I've been sent a Yankee Candle Reindeer Carousel Advent Calendar to review and I'm so excited! Over the course of this year I have really fallen in love with Yankee Candles and the best thing about their advent calendars is that they contain 24 different candles (twenty tealights and four votive candles) in six delicious frangrances:
- Candy Cane Lane
- Winter Glow
- Snowflake Cookie
- Icicles
- Bundle Up
- Spiced Orange
There are two other advent calendar types in the range this year, alongside the Reindeer Carousel; the normal Advent Calender which has 23 tealights and one votive candle, and the Advent Calendar House that contains the same. I think it's a wonderful present for a special loved one, or a treat for yourself for the season, adding the extra dimension to festive celebrations and activities. I had one last year and the candles actually lasted well past Christmas Day, so it's good value for money.
Yankee Candle Advent Calendars are available directly from Yankee Candle or a variety of high street and online retailers, including Amazon.

I want one! My mum often has one of these but I never have.
I think I need a Christmas wish list. 😉

I'm so jealous. My need for one of these grows stronger every year. I may have to treat myself to the carousel one!!!

very pretty, and much better than a choc filled cheap thing
