A Whistle-Stop Tour of 2011

One of my biggest accomplishments this year has been my 365 project. E-mail subscribers will be used to seeing a photo post every day, and other visitors might have noticed those three little digits on the right-hand side of my menu system but not known what it was.

The 365 project is a photo taken every day for a year. I have chosen to display these through my blog, and my main Christmas present from my husband was a Photobox voucher to make a 365 photobook. When he was making up the collage of photos for the voucher card, he commented on how lovely it was to see the change in him throughout the year.

It's been hard. Mid-February I was ready to give up because shots that weren't the same as the previous fifty I'd posted were hard to find. This is due to the horrendous weather at that time of year, and once Spring had sprung and the grass had ris', then I found it easier and the photographs flowed.

And so, these are my top twelve shots of the year; one for each month.

Well done, it's such a great achievement! I've known so many people start but no-one expect you to complete it. I'm so tempted to do it myself but don't see myself being able to keep it up, I certainly wouldn't be able to blog every day about it!

Lovely photos. I'm going to give the 366 a go this year I think. I've been feeling like I don't take enough photos of Bud and I'm hoping it will inspire me to get snapping. Just seen your linky, I'll be back next week to take part 🙂
