On the whole the weather has been pretty damn gorgeous for the past week or so, truly Autumnal. The best bit about this time of year is the light, it's so warm and is perfect for showing off the colours of the season crisply and beautifully. Forget PicMonkey (which feels like blasphemy coming from me), my favourite Instagram hashtag at the moment is #nofilter!

I've had a rollercoaster of a Summer with us having weekends away and days out galore; I'm storing them up before the colder months of Winter bestow themselves on us.

This weekend is another away-trip, this time to Coombe Mill in Cornwall. As I type this, I'm listening to the sound of the river running through the property and checking my multitude of photos that I've taken today.
