On the whole the weather has been pretty damn gorgeous for the past week or so, truly Autumnal. The best bit about this time of year is the light, it's so warm and is perfect for showing off the colours of the season crisply and beautifully. Forget PicMonkey (which feels like blasphemy coming from me), my favourite Instagram hashtag at the moment is #nofilter!

I've had a rollercoaster of a Summer with us having weekends away and days out galore; I'm storing them up before the colder months of Winter bestow themselves on us.

This weekend is another away-trip, this time to Coombe Mill in Cornwall. As I type this, I'm listening to the sound of the river running through the property and checking my multitude of photos that I've taken today. Rubbish. It's been a rubbish week for me with photography. I don't think I've picked up my dSLR once and we haven't seemed to do anything that has generated any outstanding or interesting photos; they've all just been snaps on my phone or the iPad. This week has been beautifully sunny and warm, and because of that you've all hopefully got a fantastic 366 collection for the past seven days. It's like I said months ago, when it's sunny everything is so much easier to photograph because the photographer's friend is light and natural, warm, sunlight is the best.

I've decided during these Summer holidays to extend the linky opening hours until Monday's midnight because I realise that many people will be busy on the Sunday. Only 'til we're back to school though!
