This time next week, we will have passed Day 200 of the project. How cool is that?

I've been taking inspiration this month from the Instagram #PhotoADayJuly prompts run by FatMumSlim. With such foul weather at the moment, and me lacking time as the end of term looms near, it's been good to have an idea of what to take my photo of each day.

Anyway, time to link up with your favourite photo of the week:

  1. Choose your favourite photo from the past week and link it up below.
  2. Please add the badge to your linked-up post so that other people know how to find all the other fabulous entries.
  3. If you can spare five minutes to comment on just a few other entries I know they'd appreciate it!

Half way!

We have all managed to get half way through the project now: 183 days, 26 weeks, 6 months, half a year. Well done us!

To celebrate the mammoth accomplishment so far, I'm bringing you another competition, this time courtesy of Hello Canvas.

photo canvas

Hello Canvas is an incredibly popular photo canvas site, one of the largest in Britain, and offers the ever popular facility of printing your photographs onto canvas using UV-protected inks (so it doesn't fade through sunlight exposure). One of the differences that I've noticed with this company though, is that they are able to produce canvasses from either digital or analogue photographs. Therefore if you have an old print of grandparents or parents as children for example, they can scan the original analogue photo for you, print it onto the canvas and return both to you. Nifty hey? They also offer a range of effects to enhance your photos, many of which are free. With prices from as little as £13 for an 8x8inch canvas, I think they are an incredibly reasonable option.

When I was asked if I'd like to review for them, I realised that I have nowhere else to put another canvas and so asked if they'd like to donate the canvas as a competition prize. So here you are! (If you'd like to see a review of their canvasses, see here or here)

You can win a 20×28 inch photo canvas (worth £39) by completing the Rafflecopter form below the normal linky.

Don't forget to add the badge and comment on a handful of other posts, this linky only happens because of each other's support!

(Apologies, I wrote this post on Thursday night so ignore the syntax as it's all screwy.)

Ok, so unless you aren't British, aren't a parent blogger or have been hiding under a blogging rock then you will know that it's the Britmums Live blogging conference this weekend where 500 bloggers congregate in an old brewery to chat, attend training sessions, eat cake and drink wine, and generally have fun. On the Friday night there is/was a ceremony celebrating the Brilliance in Blogging Awards for which I am a finalist in the photography category.

As a result of the conference, I am extending the linking time for this weekend only: Saturday morning through to Monday night. Hopefully that should give everyone the opportunity to link up and comment on a handful of posts. Everything will be back to normal next weekend.

Time to link up:

  1. Choose your favourite photo from the past week and link it up below.
  2. Please add the badge to your linked-up post so that other people know how to find all the other fabulous entries.
  3. If you can spare five minutes to comment on just a few other entries I know they'd appreciate it!

Welcome to the best photos from week 22 of Project 366. We're all doing so well, a couple more weeks and we're halfway through the project.

Last week I had a fabulous competition for you to win an acrylic photo block (worth £29.99) from Busy Pictures and all the entries were fantastic. The winner is Domestic Goddesque with this photograph:

Congratulations, I will be in touch with you regarding your prize!

Well! Hasn't it been a beautiful week?

It's meant that I've had a much better run of photos and have enjoyed getting out there with The Boy and enjoying the world in which we live. For the most part that means our theme of 'Exploring Nature' has been stuck with, with the exception of Friday's shoddy last-minute snap for the sake of of it. Sunshine makes photography so much easier!

I mentioned last week that I have a competition for you, and it's coming at the perfect time for those of you who might be looking for something different for a Father's Day present (although not limited to that occasion at all). I know that there's only so many photo mugs you can buy them, and so this idea of an acrylic block from Busy Pictures is brilliant. More contemporary and funky-looking than a standard photo in a frame, this weighty block would be perfect on Daddy's desk, but just as much as on Granny's mantelpiece, or a kitchen windowsill.

"Freestanding they are weighty enough to not fall over and luminous showing your favourite photo reflecting through the acrylic with depth and shine. Complete with our neat compact presentation box this is a gift that will bring happiness and smiles."

Busy Pictures are offering the entrants of this week's 366 linky the opportunity to win a 6"x4" acrylic block worth £29.99. In order to be in with a chance of winning, you'll need to enter the 366 linky as normal and fill in the Rafflecopter form which is below the photo linky! (It will require commenting, a tweet and a Facebook 'like') The image submitted into the linky does not need to be the image used in your prize.

Good luck!

140.

That's how many days we've been doing this now. Well done to every single person who's still managing to snap away every single day, and especially to those who are still posting every day.

If it helps? This week I've struggled, and I need to find myself a theme for this forthcoming week because it's difficult to keep taking the same old ones. Maybe I need to get out more often, maybe I need to try another 'From Where I Stand' or possibly even 'Lie'? I'll think on it, but I need freshening up. Don't be afraid to set yourself a theme to keep going on this amazing project.

The Facebook 366 group is over here if you'd like to join our little support community.

Please remember to try and comment on a handful of other 366ers photos, it helps to boost morale.

Oh, and next week I've got another competition for you all!

We're starting week 20 today. Week 20! Everyone has done so well and seems to be really enjoying their projects.

Once you've linked up, it would be great if you could pop over to a few other blogs and have a look and comment on their chosen photos. The further down the linky you are, the less comments you receive and it can be demoralising. As much as this photography project is a personal thing, merely linking up shows that we want people to see our photos.

A few more people have joined up to Project 366's Facebook group and it's brilliant to see the community growing. They offer support to those taking part in this photography project, and give much blog love. We've made it a closed group so that not every Tom, Dick or Harry can see the content but if you'd like to join just click the 'ask to join group' button in the top right hand corner of the page.
